Flow…
MOVE;
Photographs I took today of the amazing and hilarious Eleesha Waldron, my best friend who is forever making me laugh.
These photographs are for my current university project on movement and contemporary dance. I focused on graphical lines and movement within this shoots; entirely processed in black and white.
Usk
Another shoot to go alongside the Daphne editorial. Following the same theme, creating the mythological story of Daphne. I shot this at Usk castle with the Beautiful model Briony Watling and my assistant Jessica Puttock. Was a gorgeous sunny day and we were lucky enough to have access to the tower to shoot in. Thanks to Rosie Humphreys for this opportunity. Here are the final photographs. All feedback welcome!!

Revolution to online shopping?
“”A new virtual mannequin that can alter its shape to any set of measurements is set to fix online shopping’s sizing problem for good.
Retailers like Adidas, Nicole Fahri and Hugo Boss have already enlisted the online Fits.me mannequin, which allows customers to enter their own dimensions and see what a specific item of clothing will look like on their body shape.
Developed by the University of Tartu in Estonia, researchers enlisted the help of Human Solutions, a German firm specializing in body dimensions and ergonomic simulation, to develop a database of
thousands of combinations of hip width, chest diameter, sleeve length, and waist size.
Then, when a customer is shopping at Adidas.com, for example, they simply plug in their own measurements to see any piece of clothing on their own body shape.
And if the shopper doesn’t know their measurements, they can enter their height, weight, age and body shape; the virtual mannequin is then able to calculate the remaining measurements needed to accurately determine fit.
And what if you like to wear your clothes baggy, or perhaps prefer a slim fit? The mannequin’s Fit Advisor can also ask the online shopper a few key body measurements before determining whether they usually wear their clothes tight, or with a ‘regular’ or ‘loose’ fit.”” Daily Mail
Personally I think this will revolutionise the online shopping industry as people will be able to determine the exact size they will need before they buy, also enabling a reduction in mail services of sending back – therefore being more eco friendly with packaging and fuel. WIN WIN!
Looking forward for this to go global. To the future…
Model Portfolio
So my good friend Harvey Regan approached me last week asking if I could help him out with his model portfolio as he has recently been scouted by a Birmingham based agency. I got so excited I started planning straight away and booked out the studio and planned for some space on location. I decided to use the Hasselblad camera in the studio to get the best results and quality. Here’s a selection of the final images.
My Latest Shoot
For my latest shoot I worked on a good friend of mine, Harvey Regan’s modelling portfolio. For this we used a various amount of different styles, locations and also poses in the studio. My main focus was to capture Harvey’s potential and the different fashion styles he can look great in. I used a Hasselblad 4d camera for my studio shoot and a Nikon D7000 for my location shooting.
Current Inspiration
Recently I feel I have drifted away from my fashion and advertising photography so I am going to start experimenting with some new styles of fashion; making the old into modern. I am loving the on trend of tartan wear at the moment so I may have to incorporate this into my shoots at some point. I want to do a winter coat advertisement as well as a 50’s/60’s retro pin up stylised shoot. Check out my tumblr for my mood board 🙂 http://photographedwonder.tumblr.com
